The biggest snowboard competition to take place in Ontario is known as the Telus Triple Challenge. This competition consists of 3 days of ski and snowboard rail, slopestyle and big air events featuring some of the top pros in Canada.

This year was no walk in the park for the big air competitors. 40km/hour gust of winds made the 75 foot jump seem extra long. Riders had a hard time surpassing the knuckle and making it onto the bumpy landing. Precision, dedication and some big brass hangers is what was needed to make the podium this year. Kevin Konings, Jon Versteeg and Zach Stone had all of these going for them in the Men’s Pro category.

Bettering his 2nd place podium placement from last year was Meltdown’s own Kevin Konings who took home the top spot with an ever so smooth backside 1080.

Big congratulations goes out to Kevin who has been rocking the podium all season for Meltdown!
